AES LawnParts® is a leading Midwest distributor of outdoor power equipment, parts and accessories.  We have taken customer service to the next level with a spacious new, strategically-located distribution  center in Olathe, Kansas.

The expanded warehousing capabilities have made room for more stock and additional products lines.  We are now close to the UPS Distribution Center as well as truck line services - allowing us to ship orders late in the day for next-day delivery.  Our on-site training center connects experienced instructors with our dealers, keeping them well prepared to sell and service the lines we distribute.  A professional outside sales force and experienced inside staff provide the services and support that AES customers know and trust.

"Early in 1952, when Coca-Cola and Elvis were number ONE throughout the United States...		the location for a new repair shop, Automotive Equipment Service, was being examined."
"Located between private residences, in a midtown Kansas City neighborhood...		the building at 3117 Holmes Street was about 1500 sq. ft. of space."
"In the mid 1950’s, when Eisenhower was President and Richard Nixon was his Vice-President...		Automotive Equipment Service (AES) grew as an automotive repair shop, specializing in electrical and speedometer repairs."
"It was a time when movie tickets were 70 cents each and gasoline was only 22 cents per gallon...		AES' business was brisk and provided a valuable service to the community."
"In the late 1950’s, expansion became necessary.  AES became a distributor for Briggs & Stratton in 1958...		During the next twenty years, AES added more and more air-cooled engine lines and lawn equipment parts lines such as MTD, Tecumseh and Kohler and began to phase out “Automotive” products."
"In the 80's, MTV and CNN rocked the television world and America was moving into the informational technology age of computers and cell phones...		AES added more Power Equipment lines including, Oregon Saw Chain, Silver Streak, Shindaiwa and Murray.  Also, an outside sales force was fully-developed to call on dealers in Missouri, Kansas and Iowa."
"The top three pop songs of 1990 were: 1) Hold On, Wilson Phillips, 2) Nothing Compares 2 U, Sinead O'Connor, and 3) Cradle of Love, Billy Idol. As these pop artists slowly faded out...		the 1990's brought a period of solid growth for AES. The final addition to 3117 Holmes was completed in 1997 bringing the facility to approximately 27,000 square feet.  AES had expanded the facility at 3117 Holmes four times, yet needed considerably more room to grow."
"Over the next twenty years, AES continued to grow and improve its product line. Soon, once again, more business space was needed...		AES began construction of their new warehouse in Olathe, Kansas during July 2002.  The goal was for the warehouse to be completed and ready for operation by the first of 2003."
"As Spider Man, Lord of the Rings:The Two Towers and Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones were duking it out at the movie theaters...		AES was ready to occupy the building in December 2002 and made the move over the holiday season.  AES officially opened for business in Olathe, Kansas on January 2, 2003."
"Spider Man won the battle as the top money-making movie which grossed over 403 million dollars in 2003...		However, the 2003 gala event in Olathe was the Grand Opening celebration of AES on March 1, 2003. The special ribbon cutting ceremony was done by using a Shindaiwa chain saw cutting a wooden ribbon."
